Post Harvest La Paulee Celebration Dinner

Sunday, November 12, 2017, 6pm-9pm

The Santa Barbara Wine Collective celebrates the end of harvest and Santa Barbara County wines with a traditional La Paulée Dinner. Guests and winemakers are invited to bring their own favorite wines to share with others for a five-course, all-inclusive celebratory dinner on Sunday, November 12, 2017, 6pm-9pm. All corkage is waived for this event. La Paulée de Meursault originated in the vineyards of Burgundy and is now a fall gathering observed by wine lovers around the world.

The Santa Barbara Wine Collective’s sister restaurants collaborate on the menu. Begin with samplings from Les Marchands Cheese & Charcuterie board upon arrival. The communal sit-down dinner is prepared by the culinary team at Lucky PennyMarket Green Salad with Shaved Radish, Red Onion, Cucumber, Almonds & Red Wine Vinaigrette; followed by a main course of Fennel- Braised Pork Shoulder Cured in Fennel, Rosemary & Black Pepper with sides of Roasted Fingerling Potatoes; and Roasted Root Vegetables with Carrots, and Parsnips Glazed with Thyme & Honey. Finish the evening with Helena Avenue Bakery Beignets dusted with Powdered Sugar and served with Macaroons & Assorted Cookies.

Pricing is $60 per person, all–inclusive. All corkage is waived and Santa Barbara Wine Collective wines will also be available for purchase. Advance purchase is required for this event; please call the Collective at 805-456-2700.

The Santa Barbara Wine Collective teams up with Les Marchands’ Chef Weston every Tuesday to bring you TOAST TUESDAYS. ‘Toasts’ on Helena Avenue Bread topped with fresh, seasonal ingredients are paired with a wine from SBWC’s member producers.
