We are celebrating natural wines this month with Final Girl’s skin-contact orange wine — a beautiful expression of minimal intervention winemaking.

This refreshing orange wine is made with 60% Orange Muscat and 40% Riesling from local vineyards, fermented with the grape skins for 16 days to give it its signature color and bold flavor.

Think apricot, pineapple, orange zest, and stone fruit, with bright acidity and a zippy grapefruit finish. Aged in neutral oak barrels and made with native yeast, it’s unfiltered, unfined, and full of character. @finalgirlwines

Celebrating women in winemaking: Jessica Gasca’s journey began in 2009, when her first harvest of Pinot Noir at Santa Maria Gold Coast Vineyard sparked a deep passion for the craft. After apprenticing at @sanguiswinery, Jessica honed her skills, eventually crafting her first vintage in 2012. Originally from New Zealand, Angela Osborne has become Santa Barbara County’s “Goddess of Grenache.” While studying film, a side job at a wine shop led her to a transformative internship at Simi Winery, where Nick Goldschmidt introduced her to Grenache at Unti Vineyards. Captivated by the varietal’s elegance, Angela shifted from documentary filmmaking to winemaking, dedicating her craft to Grenache.

The 2023 A Tribute to Grace Rosé is a beautiful expression of the varietal—elegant, vibrant, and fresh, with notes of wild strawberry, melon, and a touch of rose petal. A perfect balance of fruit and acidity, it’s a wine that captures both the spirit of Grenache and Angela's dedication to crafting exceptional wines. @gracewine

Alice Anderson’s winemaking journey started in the Central Valley, where she grew up surrounded by farms and vineyards. After earning a degree in Wine and Viticulture from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, she traveled the world—gaining experience in Napa, Edna Valley, New Zealand, and France. In 2020, she founded âmevive, leasing the historic Ibarra-Young Vineyard to produce biodynamic, minimal-intervention wines.
